When you are a skincare junkie and you hear about some amazing skincare, you get your hands on it!
Glow Recipe! Have you heard of them? If you love skincare as much as I do, then you’ve heard of them, and if you haven’t, well, you need to know about them! Glowrecipe.com is an online site that makes natural, harsh-free beauty products and the latest skincare trends from Korea available to fellow skincare junkie women around the world. It’s kind of skincare/life changing stuff you guys. And now, they’ve actually created their own brand too, which is sold at Sephora USA.
These are three products that I’ve bought from Glow Recipe and LOVE ❤ .
First, let’s talk about the Whamisa Organic Flowers Deep Rich Essence Toner($40USD)
It’s amazing. Just amazing. It’s the most hydrating toner/essence I’ve ever tried. All others pale in comparison. I’ve tried a lot of them, and to be honest most of them I’ve never noticed a difference when using them. This facial toner has a bouncy, cushiony texture and is formulated with Aloe Vera extract, Chrysanthemum extract and Oat Kernel to moisturize and nourish skin. The Whamisa Organic Flowers Deep Rich Essence Toner is a 97.5% organic formula that also includes fermented Dandelion and Argan Oil to improve skin texture and leave skin dewy and deeply rehydrated. This stuff? It’s the real deal people. I apply about 4 drops to my face with a patting motion, and WOW. My skin feels so hydrated, so plump, so GOOD. So good in fact, that some summer days it feels like I don’t even have to moisturize after using this! And I have dehydrated skin too, which means, it’s that good you guys. If you’re gonna try one thing from Glow Recipe, make it this product. Please. This product though, is only available on their website.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask($45 USD)
I picked up the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask in California in June when we had to move Marky out of her current living situation. Where? Sephora! Glow Recipe also makes its own brand of products now, and this is one of them. It’s one of the best sleeping masks I’ve ever tried. Why?
The texture! It’s SUBLIME. It’s goopy I guess? You really need some kind of spatula to get product out of the jar, that’s for sure. It’s a weird blend of gel and oils, but that really is why it melts into your skin with no left over residue like most sleeping masks have. That means NO sticky face at all! Your face will not stick to your pillow. Nope! Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask has soothing, amino-acid rich Watermelon Extract, hydrating Hyaluronic Acid, and pore refining AHAs like Lactic and Glycolic Acids that work while you sleep to gently exfoliate and clarify. If you want to wake up to radiant, moisturized, plump skin? Then you should try it if you can.
Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser($34USD)
This also I picked up at Sephora in California and it’s nice too! Being honest though, it’s my least fave of the three, but if you have really oily skin then you’d LOVE it. With blueberry extract, this is a cleanser that delivers antioxidants which is pretty dang cool! It also has AHAs that scuff off dead skin cells. There’s even bits of blueberry in it, which makes me want to eat it HAHA. I personally, love a good foamy cleanser like this. But this one is different because it actually really does take off all of your makeup. Not many foamy cleansers can do that. But, for me, this is a bit drying. Just a tad. I do really like it for the summer right now when my skin isn’t so dehydrated and dry. But, I don’t think it would be ok for me to use in the dead of an Alberta Winter. But for now, it’s pretty great!
Have you tried anything from Glow Recipe? I really love the site!
