Omorovicza Moor Cream Cleanser

Is A Cleanser Really Worth $100?

I was sent this Omorovicza Moor Cream Cleanser way back in March. I was away all of March, so when I got back in April, I tried it and meant to blog about it. But then I decided to quit, and well NOW…you know the story and I’m right back where I started HA. 😀 😀

Anyhoo, I’ve always wanted to try something from the Budapest based skincare brand Omorovicza. Wanted to is the key there, because WOW this is some expensive skincare you guys. I mean, I love my skincare-high end, and drug store, but this stuff is on another spending level that I have not reached and never will. 😀

Omorovicza Moor Cream Cleanser contains you guessed it-Hungarian Moor Mud. The Calcium and Magnesium rich Moor mud exfoliates, detoxifies and purifies the skin. It also has Zinc Oxide that has a natural anti-inflammatory effect on skin. And there’s lavender camphor, peppermint, and eucalyptus essential oils for a cooling and antiseptic effect on the skin. Now, these oils don’t bother me, but I do know that they can be irritating to some people, so be careful I say. Marky’s skin can’t take lavender at all. When a product has essential oils in it, I think it’s a good idea to do a little skin test first before slapping it all over your face.
Here’s the ingredients for you, and WATER is the first ingredient. That’s some expensive thermal water, hey?

Is Omorovicza Moor Cream Cleanser worth $100? Is ANY cleanser worth $100? I mean, how much can a cleanser really do for your face? It’s on your face for like what-a minute maybe? It’s a nice cream cleanser I guess? I like the cooling aspect since I’m a hot & flashy menopausal lady over here. But, it’s just a cleanser? And I’d never, ever spend that much on a face cleanser you guys. Maybe if I won the lottery. But even if that ever happened, I still wouldn’t. I think it’s an insane price for a cleanser. I’d rather put that money towards a serum that will actually benefit my face.

Like holy WOW. I just don’t get it. To me, this is one of those things that makes me shake my head in disbelief. How about you?

  1. LOL! ILU, Tracy for keeping it real. I probably would spend if I were curious, but lately I’m happy with an inexpensive cleansing oil from MUJI. But it is kind of nutty to spend all this for one minute of bliss.

  2. I missed you so much Tracy. Your honesty is refreshing and damn, I think I might just have a girl crush 😉 I got a facial recently and WOW. I wasn’t a believer. I thought my skin was just fine (it is pretty decent to begin with) but this brought my skin to a new level of WOW. Where did my pores go??? LOL So I started drinking the kool aid and here I am with $75 moisturizer, a GIMONGOUS bottle of this spray stuff I think is a toner (almost $50) and an eye cream with a consistency that should send me running for the hills (so hard to describe but it’s marshmallowy??) but I am enjoying it and now I want the effect to last because the facial was, you know, ESSSPENSIVE. I’m thinking I’m alright with spending mucho deneiro on stuff that’s going to stay on my skin but for cleanser, maybe not so much?

    1. Awwww, thanks! You made me tear up a bit! I kind of missed blogging too actually.
You know, I haven’t had a facial in YEARS-prob 20! I should go and have one! You’ve got me intrigued!
But yeah, I spend $$$ on serums and moisturizers, but a cleanser? I think it’s insane!
